This was the most beautiful place we have ever travelled to. The view from the hotel was breathtaking and more spectacular than we could have imagined. The little beach down the hill was nice and fairly quiet, with a lot of local families and only a few tourists. The hotel was a great base - in between Amalfi and Positano. Breakfast buffet was superb and the rooms were good too. The young lady at reception was extremely helpful and welcoming, but some of the other staff were a little uptight. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we hope to return again soon. A wonderful little piece of paradise!
Unforunately, there was no wifi and the only internet was from one computer in the lobby. The walk down to the beach would be difficult for people with knee or back troubles, but for most people, it'd be a walk in the park (or down a hill). The manager could do with some happy gas every now and then.

The location it has short walk to an old stone fortress out at the end of a promenatory and to the local beach which was perfect for a swim and the restaurant up in the main town / village is comfortable and peaceful. Everyone is incredibly helpful and owner too.

Ideal getaway for couples
The view from our private balcony was unreal, I mean like something out of a postcard. And the staff, they were so helpful, even arranged a shuttle to nearby restaurants. Totally unexpected, but it made everything so much easier.
It wasn't budget-friendly by any means, but considering the experience, it felt acceptable.

The view from the hotel is fantastic...either from where breakfast is taken or from the hotel reception and place to rest or read. Not to mention that one has the opportunity of a room with an ocean view and even more with a balcony like ours. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and have beach chairs on the balcony. The breakfast is very good and complete. Natural and freshly squeezed orange juice, cold cuts, hard boiled eggs and a variety of sweet bills, among other things . The attention of its owner Marcelo (always attentive to what one needs) and of the two girls at the reception was excellent. They hired us for the excursion to Capri. The hotel does not have a laundry but they immediately contacted us with a laundry in Amalfi that was very fast (morning to afternoon) and reasonably priced. In our case we went by car so the private parking of the hotel was essential to give us peace of mind. Bear in mind the difficulty of driving along the Amalfi coast.
Nothing in particular. Everything was excellent. . Perhaps it could be mentioned that the hotel does not have a restaurant or a bar service with food (although there is one nearby in another hotel) and that can be a drawback given the location of the hotel.

The view was the most impressive thing about this hotel.
The ad was misleading in the fact that the walk to the beach is hard. You have to walk down stairs and then up again. Also, was told that there was food on site, this also was not the case. The hotel offers breakfast, but there is no other food on sight at all. You either have to walk down the stairs or drive at least 20 minutes and pay for parking to get to any type of food. The room was very basic, nothing fancy, the view was the only thing that was fantastic about this hotel. The beds were hard, but this is typical for European travel. Keep in mind, this hotel is situated at least 20 minutes away from any amenities. When you go into the towns, parking is hard and expensive. The bus is not very often, so if your hungry, be prepared, stop in Sorrento before hitting the coast as it is difficult to find amenities easily.

The views from our room were amazing, and we loved sipping coffee on our private terrace, soaking in the fine scenery. The staff were cute and helpful, especially Monica, who assisted us with our travel plans. The breakfast offered a nice selection that fueled us for our adventurous days exploring the Amalfi Coast.
The hotel lacked on-site dining options.

My boyfriend & I had a wonderful, relaxing and romantic stay at Hotel Le Terrazze. The view from our balcony was absoloutely breathtaking. There's a lovely little beach down a winding staircase from the hotel with three excellent restaurants. You can arrange for very reasonable (we were charged 5eu each to be taken to Amalfi!) water taxis to take you to nearby places of interest. For thos on a budget or not wanting to negotiate the terrifying coastal road there are bus stops 50 ft away taking you to Salerno, Positano / Sorrento and even a couple to and from Naples. The Hotel Le Terrazze is in a prime position for a relaxing beach holiday or as a base to explore this stunning coastal region.
No major gripes. It would have been nice if the hotel restaurant had been in operation with it's great views over the bay. There are a lot (200ish) of steps down to the beach so it would not be suitable for disabled or elderly people. Would have been great to have a pool at hotel level.

The terrace view was breathtaking and wonderful. The breakfasts were super good and great choice of items. The staff was helpful to arrange a trip to Capri and we took the boat from nearby Amalfi. A great quiet location on the Amalfi coast. Parking was available and free. Elevators made the stay very enjoyable.
The driveway is steep but workable.

Hotel Le Terrazze has one of the best locations on the Amalfi coast. It is 10 minutes out of Amalfi on the SITA bus, and thus out of the hustle and bustle. It is very quiet. The views are nothing short of spectacular (get the sea front room). Words cannot express how beautiful it is. The hotel was very clean, lovely room, good breakfast, wonderful staff. We would stay there again without any hesitation.

The hotel's decor exudes a charming Mediterranean style. Accessibility is excellent, with many lovely sitting areas to enjoy amazing views without any strain or difficulty.
A restaurant would improve the dining options.
